Isht Vatsa immigrated to the United States from India at the age of eight and was naturalized in 2011. Growing up in Miami, Florida, he was deeply connected to diverse immigrant communities, an experience that fueled his passion for immigration law. Isht completed the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Coral Reef Senior High School, where he began his journey of academic excellence.
At Boston College Law School, Isht demonstrated his commitment to justice by volunteering with the New England Innocence Project (NEIP) and representing clients in civil matters through the Boston College Civil Litigation Clinic. He also gained practical courtroom experience during his internship with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts.
Following law school, Isht served as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he handled a wide array of criminal cases, gaining invaluable trial experience. He then joined a premier immigration law firm, where he specialized in employment-based immigration, particularly in self-petitioned EB-1A Extraordinary Ability and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) cases.
